Westshore Community Association

Founded in 1996, the Westshore Community Association is the voice of the Westshore community in Napier, New Zealand. Established by local residents to represent the interests of the suburb and foster a strong sense of community, the Association works to protect and enhance one of Hawke's Bay's most unique coastal neighbourhoods.

Westshore is renowned for its beach, estuary, wildlife, recreational opportunities and close-knit community. The Association plays an active role in preserving these qualities by advocating on behalf of residents, working collaboratively with Napier City Council, Hawke's Bay Regional Council, community organisations, businesses and other stakeholders on issues that affect and enhance the area, and representing the aspirations of the Westshore community.

The Association believes that strong communities are built through collaboration, respect and active participation. Whether advocating for infrastructure improvements, supporting emergency preparedness, or celebrating the unique character of Westshore, we are committed to ensuring our community remains a safe, vibrant and welcoming place to live, work and visit.
